I.
Get Yourself a Journal: A life
worth living is a life worth writing about.
Start writing about your life and you will start to change it
significantly, no matter what your current situation is today. Having
the courage to write down where you are today, and then committing in
writing to where it is you want to go is the first step. From there you
are going to need a written plan of attack. Then you will need to
journal the actions you took and the results that came from those
actions. The great thing about keeping a record of success is that you
can not get away from where it is you are in life and if the plan you
are working is getting results.
II. Set Your Goal:
A goal becomes a commitment
when it is written.
Your chances of success go up 80% just by setting goals and writing them
down. There is a great book out there called "Think and Grow Rich" that
has a powerful formula for achieving any goal you set for yourself.
Follow this formula for goal setting and discover a secret formula used
by the most successful men in history.
IV. Clean House:
First head to the kitchen and throw
away all that negative food that you know is not going to help
you lose fat and gain muscle. Then go room by room, throw away or donate
to charity all that clutter and excess that you have been shuffling
around all these years. Oh...and don't forget all those clothes you have
been hording in your closet. I'm talking about a 24 hour clean-a-thon to
simplify your life and get you mentally focused for the future.
V. Go Shopping:
Once you have disposed of or donated
all the waste in your life it's time to maximize existing resources.
First you need to make sure your home is full of water and
healthy foods that will increase your energy, lose weight, and gain
quality muscle. Then, I recommend getting some comfortable workout
clothes. If your serious about getting in shape, more of your
clothes will be for making muscle not money.
VI.
Join a Gym: I recommend going
to the gym that has the best bodies in town. It has been my experience
that
Gold's Gym has members that are serious about getting in shape. If
you feel intimidated by going to a gym, then all the more reason to go.
You will find that most people that are in great shape are open to
sharing with you how they did it. You need to surround yourself with
like minded people. Even if you just sit there for a couple of weeks,
it's contagious
